A 24 hour collaboration* between indie artists /developers and students from top schools and universities in Stockholm /Sweden.
This is the first in a series of jams, where we unite digital creators from the fields of art, design, communication, coding, sound and music production, etc. The aim is to establish a collaborative network and scene, where we conduct artistic research and experiments within the fields VR /AR /MR, not directly aiming for traditional gaming or business development, but going beyond that!
The jams are organized by Joel Dittrich – Associate professor in audiovisual production, and Martin Söderblom – Teacher in game design and animation.
It´s all free of charge. The participators get access to Microsoft HoloLens, HTC Vive, Leap Motion, Structure sensor /3D scanner, and fast computers to run the headsets, etc.
Our creations are considered open source, under the MIT university agreement. The jams are part of The Educational VR /AR /MR Initiative, financially supported by MTG Technology and MTG Studios.
